what's your cancellation policy?
Any cancellation of participation must be made in writing via email. The date the cancellation is received will be decisive for the calculation of cancellation fees.
The following cancellation conditions apply:
✴︎ Up to 60 days before the start of the retreat (until and including January 31, 2026):
A refund of 70% of the retreat price will be issued.
✴︎ Up to 30 days before the start of the retreat (until and including March 1, 2026):
A refund of 40% of the retreat price will be issued.
✴︎ From 29 days before the start of the retreat (from March 2, 2026):
No refund is possible.
✴︎ In case of no-show or early departure from the retreat:
No refund will be granted, not even on a pro-rata basis.
✴︎ Replacement participant:
You may nominate a replacement participant up to 7 days before the start of the retreat, provided that she meets the participation requirements. In this case, no cancellation fees apply.
If the retreat must be canceled due to important reasons (e.g. illness of the organizer, force majeure, or unforeseeable events), the full retreat price already paid will be refunded.
No further claims can be made, in particular for flight costs, travel expenses, or accommodation costs outside of the retreat.
We strongly recommend taking out travel cancellation and travel interruption insurance, as unforeseen events (e.g. illness, family emergencies) are not covered.

what are the terms and conditions of this retreat?
1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to all package travel bookings (retreats) offered and organized by NOURAN Retreats, owned by Shirin Bahns. By booking a retreat, the participant agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Conclusion of Contract
The travel contract is concluded when the participant receives a booking confirmation from Nouran Retreats and the agreed deposit or full payment is received within the specified deadline. This constitutes a package travel contract according to §651a(1) of the German Civil Code (BGB).
3. Scope of Services
The scope of contractual services is determined by the retreat description on the website, the booking offer, and the booking confirmation. Minor changes to individual services are permitted provided they do not significantly alter the overall nature of the retreat.
4. Prices and Payment Terms
All prices are quoted per person. Payment terms (deposit, remaining payment, due dates) are specified in the booking process and/or booking confirmation. If a participant books the retreat for multiple persons listed in her booking, she is also liable for their contractual obligations as well as her own if she has expressly declared this separately.
5. Minimum Number of Participants
A minimum number of 5 participants applies. If this minimum is not reached, Nouran Retreats reserves the right to cancel the retreat up to 20 days before the start date. In that case, all payments made will be refunded in full.
6. Cancellation by Participant
A participant may cancel at any time before the start of the retreat according to §651h(1) BGB. Cancellations must be made in writing by e‑mail. The date of receipt of the cancellation is decisive.
Cancellation conditions according to §651h(2), sentences 1 and 2 BGB apply: • Up to 60 days before the retreat start: 70% refund • Up to 30 days before the retreat start: 40% refund • From 29 days before the retreat start: no refund • No‑show or early departure: no refund
A replacement participant may be named up to 7 days before the retreat start, provided participation requirements are met (§651e(1),(2) BGB). In this case, no cancellation fees apply. Both the original and the replacement participant are jointly and severally liable to Nouran Retreats (§651e(3) BGB). Nouran Retreats strongly recommends that all participants take out travel cancellation and travel interruption insurance.
7. Cancellation and Termination by Organizer
Nouran Retreats may cancel the contract due to extraordinary circumstances (e.g. force majeure, illness of the organizer, unforeseeable events) that significantly impair or make the retreat impossible to perform. In such cases, all payments will be refunded in full. No further claims may be made.
8. Liability
Nouran Retreats is liable for the proper performance of contractual travel services in accordance with statutory provisions. Liability for non‑bodily injury is limited to three times the travel price per participant (§651p(1) BGB) insofar as the damage was not caused intentionally or by gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is excluded unless essential contractual obligations are breached.
9. Insolvency Protection / Security Certificate
Nouran Retreats has insolvency protection in accordance with §651r BGB with R+V Allgemeine Versicherung AG. In the event of insolvency, customer funds are secured; if transport is part of the package, return transport is guaranteed. The security certificate grants participants a direct claim against R+V Allgemeine Versicherung AG in the event of an insolvency case.
10. Participant’s Duty to Cooperate
Participants must immediately report any defects so that remedial action may be taken.
11. Applicable Law
German law shall apply.
12. Severability Clause
Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
what are the key rights under directive (EU)?
The combination of travel services offered to you constitutes a package travel arrangement within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302.
This means that you can rely on all EU rights applicable to package travel. Nouran Retreats, owned by Shirin Bahns, bears full responsibility for the proper performance of all travel services included in the package.
Furthermore, Nouran Retreats has taken out the legally required insolvency protection to secure the refund of payments made by travelers and – where transport is included as part of the package – to ensure repatriation in the event of insolvency.
The insolvency insurance is provided by R+V Allgemeine Versicherung AG.
✴︎ Key Rights under Directive (EU) 2015/2302
Travelers receive all essential information about the package travel before concluding the package travel contract.
At least one entrepreneur is always liable for the proper performance of all travel services included in the contract.
Travelers are provided with an emergency telephone number or contact details that allow them to get in touch with the tour operator or travel agent.
Travelers may transfer the package travel to another person within a reasonable period and, where applicable, subject to additional costs.
The price of the package travel may only be increased if specific costs (for example fuel prices) increase and only if this possibility is expressly provided for in the contract, and in any case no later than 20 days before the start of the package travel. If the price increase exceeds 8% of the total package price, the traveler may withdraw from the contract. If the tour operator reserves the right to increase the price, the traveler is entitled to a price reduction if the relevant costs decrease.
Travelers may withdraw from the contract without paying a cancellation fee and receive a full refund of all payments made if one of the essential elements of the package travel – other than the price – is significantly changed. If the tour operator responsible for the package travel cancels the package before its start, travelers are entitled to a refund and, in certain cases, compensation.
Travelers may withdraw from the contract without paying a cancellation fee before the start of the package travel if extraordinary circumstances occur, for example if serious security problems at the destination are likely to significantly affect the package travel.
In addition, travelers may withdraw from the contract at any time before the start of the package travel upon payment of an appropriate and justifiable cancellation fee.
If, after the start of the package travel, essential elements of the package cannot be performed as agreed, appropriate alternative arrangements must be offered to the traveler at no additional cost. The traveler may withdraw from the contract without paying a cancellation fee (this right is referred to as “termination” under German law) if travel services are not provided in accordance with the contract, this has a substantial impact on the performance of the package travel, and the tour operator fails to remedy the situation.
Travelers are entitled to a price reduction and/or compensation if the travel services are not performed or are not performed properly.
The tour operator must provide assistance to travelers who find themselves in difficulty.
In the event of the insolvency of the tour operator, payments made by travelers will be refunded. If the tour operator becomes insolvent after the start of the package travel and transport is included as part of the package, repatriation of the travelers will be ensured.
Nouran Retreats has taken out insolvency insurance in accordance with § 651r of the German Civil Code (BGB) with R+V Allgemeine Versicherung AG. In the event of insolvency, travelers may contact R+V Allgemeine Versicherung AG if travel services are refused due to the insolvency of Nouran Retreats.

how do i get there?
you either fly into Marrakesh or Agadir city.
there are three options to get to Imsouane; private taxi, shared taxi or bus.
no matter what option you choose, we will help you arrange everything to make sure your journey is safe and comfortable.
we will also create a whatsapp group with all the participants so you guys can arrange a shared taxi.
is it safe as a woman in imsouane?
imsouane is super laid back and definitely a safe bubble for women. everyone is friendly and chatty but also minding their own business.
what should i bring?
expect early summer temperatures! pack accordingly, you will only need light clothing and a sweater or jacket for the evenings or windy days.
towels and bed sheets will be provided by our lodge.
is it a problem that i haven't surfed before?
machi mochkil! which means "no problem"! the surf lessons are for every level and our instructor will take care of each one. same goes for the yoga classes and creative workshops.
am i the right fit for a Nouran retreat?
every type of woman is welcomed in our retreat.
however, if you enjoy the slow life with deep connections and mindfulness and crave being surrounded by feminine energy, this space is especially designed for you.
how much free time will i have?
our daily activities will easily fill most of the day, however it is important to us that each one of you gets to create their own individual experience, meaning that there is no obligation to any program.

what if i don't get along with anyone?

what if i have dietary restrictions?
